58/365 Don’t Eat That!

Fungus is one of the strangest looking organisms on the face of the earth IMHO.  They come in all shapes and sizes and colors, and can be found just about anywhere. The one thing they all have in common is that they all generally creep me out!  Fungus always looks like it’s hiding something.  Like there’s some secret agenda behind all that weirdness.  Could just be me.  One or two popping up after a heavy rain is a fairly common occurrence, but I’ve never seen anything like this before.

    Nice set. They seem to have grown themselves at a right angle, mathematical mushrooms 🙂

      Even stranger. You can’t see it in these images, but it was a complete circle. About 15 feet in diameter. Very odd. I have an idea how they did it, but I won’t bore you with the details.
